Project Background
The Greenhaven Park playground was budgeted by City Council for replacement in 2022. Following review of project proposals, a public comment period, and open house early in 2022, the Park, Recreation, and Trails Commission requested additional funding for the project. An additional $15,000 was approved. At its April 5, 2022 meeting, the City Council approved a proposal for the replacement of the Greenhaven Park playground. The new playground is anticipated to be open by the end of the 2022 season.
Project Update
City staff have completed the site work. Playground installation crews are anticipated to be on site to begin work on Thursday, September 29. Please use caution in the area during construction and stay off of any equipment until the playground is open.
