Open to Business Program

Support Available for Small Business Owners


Are you a small business owner or entrepreneur looking for support? To support small businesses in the City of Vadnais Heights, we’ve partnered with Ramsey County and the Metropolitan Consortium of Community Developers (MCCD) to launch an Open to Business program for Vadnais Heights businesses. 

Open to Business provides free confidential business counseling to help business owners access the technical assistance and financing options they need to succeed. All current business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs intending to establish, purchase or improve a business within the county are eligible to participate.

Services available include:


  • Business plan development.
  • Feasibility analysis.
  • Cash flow and financing projections.
  • Marketing planning and material preparation.
  • City and state licensing and regulatory assistance.
  • Loan packaging and other assistance in obtaining financing.

9-11 a.m.

Come to Open to Business office hours for an opportunity to meet with a business adviser to help jump start your business, overcome challenges or position yourself for growth. Free, confidential business advising to anyone who lives or works within the city.
