Vadnais Heights Food Shelf
2021 Holiday Food & Toy Drive Information
The Vadnais Heights Food Shelf is located at 655 East County Road F at the north end of the Vadnais Heights Commons with its access gate on Clover Avenue. Food distribution is the third Saturday of every month from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. January through October, and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. November and December.

Income Eligibility
Households that are at or below 300% of the weekly Federal Poverty Level (FPL) are eligible to receive Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) foods. TEFAP Eligibility Forms (English, Spanish, Somali, Hmong, Russian)

Qualified recipients may register the day of the distribution. In case of a food emergency or if you have questions regarding the income guidelines, please contact Paul Schirer at 612-245-9259 between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The community is invited to drop off donations of non-perishable food at City Hall, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You may also donate during food distribution hours, on the third Saturday of every month from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. January through October, and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. November and December. Toys or age-appropriate items for children and teens are also accepted during the holiday season for the December Food Shelf and Toy Drive.
Monetary donations, used to fund gift certificates for perishable items, are also welcome.
Donate by Mail: Make checks payable to the Vadnais Heights Lions Club Foundation and drop off or mail c/o Vadnais Heights City Hall, 800 East County Road E.
Donations are tax deductible as the Vadnais Heights Lions Club Foundation is a 501(c) 3 non-profit. The Vadnais Heights Food Shelf is a partnership between the City of Vadnais Heights and the Vadnais Heights Lions Club.
